I have over thirty years of experience in teaching and coaching and have developed a wide range of knowledge, understanding and skills.  I will help you to learn in a supportive environment at your pace and in a way that meets your learning style.  

 

My philosophy is to teach you "how to drive" not just pass a test.   I will help you to develop the confidence and skills needed to deal with the road ahead.  

 

I am a qualified approved driving instructor (ADI) via the Driving Standard Agency (DSA) and have been trained by the very best in the industry.  Prior to qualifying as a driving instructor, I worked as a secondary school teacher for over 28 years. 

 

I have a proven track record of supporting anxious or nervous learners and have the ability to break things down into achievable steps which makes learning easy.  I have also worked with learners who have additional learning needs such as autism, ADHD and dyslexia.  Again my training as a teacher means I understand what will work for you.
